Foreword
On behalf of AACLS, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 19th ASEAN Conference of Clinical Laboratory Sciences (ACCLS 2026), held from 29–31 July 2026 at The Waterfront Hotel, Kuching, Sarawak.
Hosted by the Malaysian Institute of Medical Laboratory Sciences (MIMLS) under the auspices of the ASEAN Association for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (AACLS), ACCLS 2026 serves as an important platform for clinical laboratory professionals, scientists, researchers, educators, and industry partners from across the ASEAN region and beyond to come together in advancing the field of clinical laboratory sciences and laboratory medicine.
Through scientific exchange, collaboration, and innovation, this conference aims to strengthen professional networks and promote excellence in healthcare diagnostics, quality laboratory services, and patient care. In an era of rapidly evolving medical technologies and emerging global health challenges, the role of clinical laboratory sciences has become increasingly vital in supporting disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and public health initiatives.
ACCLS 2026 provides a valuable opportunity to share knowledge, discuss current developments, and explore future directions in laboratory practice, research, quality management, biosafety, digital transformation, and precision medicine. We are honored to host distinguished speakers, experts, and delegates from various countries who will contribute their expertise and experiences throughout the conference.
